North America’s foremost coin and currency shows

hosting three industry-leading events in Baltimore

For over 50 years, Whitman Expos has stood as a premier convention for rare coins and collectibles. Initially established in 1972 by Gordon Berg and Ed Kuszmar as a regional show, it has evolved into a pivotal national event eagerly awaited by coin enthusiasts and dealers alike.

Held three times a year (Spring, Summer, and Fall) at the Baltimore Convention Center, the Expos enjoys a strategic location accessible to over 5 million people within a three-hour drive of downtown Baltimore, and conveniently close to the BWI national airport, reachable within 30 minutes by car.

Anchored by a regular attendance of over 300 professional booth-holders from across the nation and worldwide, the show is also partnered with Stack’s Bowers Galleries, who hold marquee events and lot viewing in conjunction with the Expo. Security measures are continuously updated to meet contemporary needs, ensuring a safe environment for visitors.

Entrance to the Expo is free for the public upon presentation of a valid photo ID. Convenient parking and accommodations of various levels are available within walking distance.

Rooted on principles of education, community engagement, and a shared passion for history, Whitman Expos provide an exclusive platform where both newcomers and seasoned experts can engage in buying, selling, and trading cherished pieces while delving into the captivating stories behind them.

Embracing the next generation of collectors, the Expo offers the “Kid’s Korner,” a space where children aged 6 to 12 can enjoy activities like “Fill Your Album,” a “Coin Grab” challenge, “Coin Coloring,” and receive complimentary goodie bags with select collectibles.
